Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is a mashup of A Little Wicked by Valerie Broussard and Witchyman by Cain Culto.

This SATB Transition Number is a great change of pace after an opener the drives more. The arrangement begins with a treble solo backed up by small group to accommodate a costume change, or the whole choir. The entire ensemble (or small group) takes over at the chorus. The tune then picks up tempo and drive into Witchyman which is full ensemble. Coming out of the dance break the two tunes are overlapped with the small group from the beginning taking one of the tunes against the rest of the choir on the other. This arrangement was originally written for the Spotlights from Janesville Craig High School in Wisconsin.

This SATB mashup of Lucky Day by Louis II and Kick Up Your Heels by Jessica Mauboy is a high energy way to close a show. There is a treble solo to start before the choir takes over. There is a piano solo written into the dance break to feature an amazing keyboard player (keytar, anyone?), but if you don’t have a keyboard player to feature, you can easily chop those 8 bars and still have a high energy dance break! This arrangement is new and has never been performed – your choir could be the first!

Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is a medley of Thick Skin by Leona Lewis and I Didn’t Know My Own Strength by Whitney Houston.

This SATB ballad begins soft and tenderly with a treble solo. The choir comes in at the chorus before the gears change to the next tune and a bass clef soloist takes over. The choir builds in under the soloist before again taking the reins at the chorus. The chorus builds to a big a cappella vocal moment before the band comes back in for a key change into the last chorus. The two soloists come back in at the end and the chart ends as tenderly as it began. This arrangement was originally written for Synergy from Johnston High School in Iowa.

This SATB closer rocks hard from beginning to end! The original recording is mostly Korean, but we had an English translation done. The arrangement features a treble solo in the beginning and a guitar solo in the dance break. There are vocal moments and opportunities for visual ones scattered throughout the chart. This arrangement was originally written for Encore from Jackson Academy in Mississippi.

Today’s new for 2023 featured release is a mashup of Digital World by Amaranthe and Charge Me Up by Jennifer Lopez. This SATB opener hits hard right out of the gate with a vocal build into a big dance break. The tunes are intense with a technical vibe, tight vocal harmonies, hot horn licks and plenty of opportunities to create visual moments. There is a treble solo in the middle. This chart was original written for the Northern Stars from Sheridan High School in Ohio.
