New Arrangement – Made You Look

Time for another New and Never Performed Catalog release. This week is Made You Look by Meghan Trainor.

This SSA number is the perfect change of pace after an opener with more drive. The arrangement features a soloist backed up by the choir, before the choir takes over at the chorus. With hints of ‘I Can Hear the Bells’ from Hairspray, this chart can be performed with all the character and sass your singers have to offer! The vocal harmonies are tight and the dance breaks are beefed up from the original so they can really be danced to. This chart is new and has never been performed, your choir could be the first.

The track features Ines Cring on vocals and Steve Cochran on guitar.

New Arrangement – Resonate

Today’s new for 2023 arrangement is Resonate by Journey.

This SATB opener is intense without being aggressive. The intensity comes from the drive and hauntingly beautiful chord progression that is extended by the vocal melody. This arrangement was originally written for Entourage from Naperville North High School in Illinois.

The track features Brian McCallister & Ines Cring on vocals, and Steve Cochran on guitar.

This arrangement, and more than 150 other new ones, will go live in the catalog this Wednesday!

New Arrangement – Stand in the Light

Today’s new for 2023 arrangement is Stand in the Light by Jordan Smith.

This SATB ballad will really showcase your group’s vocal abilities. There is a bass clef solo in the beginning before the choir takes over. The second verse builds into the bridge, which continues to build into a big vocal moment at the final chorus. The chart then pulls back and ends as tenderly as it began. This arrangement was originally written for Fast Lane from Glenwood Community High School in Iowa.

The track features Brian McCallister and Ines Cring on vocals.

This arrangement, and more than 150 other new ones, will go live in my catalog on March 1st.
