Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is Shakedown by Bob Seger.

This SATB closer rocks from start to finish. Vocally this chart is all about the full ensemble as there are no solos. There’s a big dance break in the middle where you can feature your guitar player and plenty of opportunities for visual moments throughout. There’s a built-in bow and vocal statement at the end of the chart. This arrangement was originally written for Ovation from O’Gorman High School in South Dakota.

New Arrangement – Loose

Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is Loose by Allen Stone.

This TTB chart is the perfect way to feature your bass clef singers. It begins with a vocal statement, which is written SATB if you’re coming out of a ballad, but can also be performed just TTB. From there the band takes over with an opening dance break and the full ensemble comes in at the verse. The second verse is a solo backed up by the choir that builds into the big dance break. After the dance break there is pull back section that builds and modulates into a final chorus. This arrangement was originally written for Synergy from Johnston High School in Iowa.

New Arrangement – Get Away Medley

Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is a medley of Get Away by Danny Gokey and Getaway Car by Taylor Swift.

This SATB costume change medley starts and ends with everyone on stage, but transitions everyone through a costume change and then brings everyone back together to set up a closer. The chart begins with a vocal statement of Get Away by the full ensemble before the treble clef singers take over with Getaway Car. There is a trio in this section with a lot of back and forth between the trio and the ensemble. After a verse and chorus there is a dance break and final vocal statement before it transitions into the bass clef singers and back into Get Away. This tune begins with the full ensemble, but a soloist takes over and this builds into a chorus and big dance break after which the full group reunites for a final chorus and ending. This arrangement was originally written for Ovation from O’Gorman High School in South Dakota.
