New Arrangement – Native Tongue

Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is Native Tongue by Switchfoot.

This SATB opener has a unique 12/8 rock vibe. The chart begins laid back and builds into an initial dance break where you can feature a guitar player. New Arrangement – Pac-Man Fever

Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is Pac-Man Fever by Buckner & Garcia.

This TTB number is so much fun, but in addition to that it’s a rockin’ number to feature your bass clef singers. There is a solo in the beginning that does come back at the end. The full ensemble takes over at the chorus. There are lots of references to Pac Man throughout the tune which means plenty of opportunities for visual references to the game as well! This arrangement was originally written for the Northern Stars from Sheridan High School in Ohio.

The track features Brian McCallister on vocals and Steve Cochran on guitar.

New Arrangement – Plastic Hearts/I’m Ready

Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is a medley of Plastic Hearts by Miley Cyrus and I’m Ready by Sam Smith & Demi Lovato.

This SATB chart was designed as a second number, but could easily work as a transition/costume change number too. The arrangement begins with the full ensemble before transitioning into I’m Ready which features a bass clef duet and later a treble solo backed up by the choir. After a dramatic dance break, there is an a cappella shout chorus. The arrangement ends on the softer side which could be used to help set up a ballad. This chart was originally written for Rhythm in Gold from Bloomington Kennedy High School in Minnesota as part of their Moulin Rouge set.

The track features Brian McCallister & Ines Cring on vocals.
