Surprise! He wasn’t supposed to get here till tomorrow, but made record time in the sleigh and got here a day early—it’s Santa, and not just any Santa, it’s Disco Santa! This original song written by Damon Brown and Brock Keiper is the first new release of BMK Arrangements’ Christmas in July 2023.
This SATB arrangement is full of references to all things disco as it tells the tale of the North Pole’s grooviest resident. The vocal chart is full of exciting moments and features treble and bass clef soloists who combine as a duet in the end. Visually there are endless opportunities to showcase your choirs dance abilities underneath the mirror ball. The band charts are hot and full of all the funky guitar and sizzling horn licks you’d expect from a disco tune.
Since this is an original song, it requires absolutely NO licensing, and even better, every single penny from the sale of this arrangement will go directly to Thirst Project, the world’s leading youth water organization!
This arrangement is new and has never been performed—your choir could be the first to stay alive with the jive of Disco Santa!
The track features Ines Cring & Brian McCallister on vocals, and Alec McKeska on guitar.
Over the last couple days, the well we co-funded was installed in Eswatini, bringing clean water to the community of Bulunga/Mantjonga for the first time ever.
Thanks to everyone who helped us raise the funds through the purchase of catalog arrangements and participation in Thirsty Thursday arrangement giveaways in 2022. And thanks to Damon Brown, who we co-funded this well with, for sharing pics and videos of the actual installation of the well with me, so I could share them with you! If your school/group would like to get involved with Show Choirs for Thirst, contact Damon Brown at damonb@thirstproject.org, or visit his Show Choirs for Thirst Facebook group for more information.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with Thirst Project for years to come. We will once again be donating $25 from the sale of every catalog arrangement to Thirst Project in 2023. We’ve also got a fun summer of Thirsty Thursday arrangement giveaways coming your way, and a maybe a few more surprises along the way!
Make sure you follow us on Facebook (Facebook.com/bmkmusic) and Instagram (@bmkmusic25) to participate in the arrangement giveaways!

Got a bonus New and Never Performed Release this week and it’s another Scarlet Opera tune, The Place To Be.
This SATB mid-tempo number is versatile and can be used to open a show or somewhere within it. The chart begins with a tenor solo, which does return after the dance break. The choral harmonies are tight, the horn licks are fierce, and the tune is an ear worm your audience will be humming the rest of the day. There is a big dance break in the middle where you can feature a guitar player, and there are a couple other big opportunities for visual moments within the chart. This arrangement is new and has never been performed – your choir could be the first!
The track features Brian McCallister & Ines Cring on vocals, and Steve Cochran on guitar.
