Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is Louder Than Words from Tick, Tick…Boom!
This SATB opener was meant to be an updated version of the popular show choir tune. There is a bass clef solo to start, backed up by the choir. The tempo picks up into a dance break before the second verse. The arrangement hits all the best parts from the original and even has a second dance break. After the second dance break the solo comes back for a pull back moment before it kicks back in and builds to the end. This chart was originally written for Side One from Indianola High School in Iowa.
The track features Brian McCallister & Ines Cring on vocals, and Steve Cochran on guitar.

Today’s New for 2023 Featured Arrangement is a medley of Plastic Hearts by Miley Cyrus and I’m Ready by Sam Smith & Demi Lovato.
This SATB chart was designed as a second number, but could easily work as a transition/costume change number too. The arrangement begins with the full ensemble before transitioning into I’m Ready which features a bass clef duet and later a treble solo backed up by the choir. After a dramatic dance break, there is an a cappella shout chorus. The arrangement ends on the softer side which could be used to help set up a ballad. This chart was originally written for Rhythm in Gold from Bloomington Kennedy High School in Minnesota as part of their Moulin Rouge set.
The track features Brian McCallister & Ines Cring on vocals.

This week’s New and Never Performed Friday Release is Love Me Back To Life by Natalie Layne.
This SATB closer is fun and funky from beginning to end. Beginning with a treble solo backed up by the full ensemble, the vocal rhythms in this one are full of syncopation. The choir takes over at the chorus, the rests of which are all punctuated by funky horn licks. There is an abbreviated second verse that builds into a big 12-bar dance break where the horns take the lead. There are funky rhythmic hits and the last 4 bars hit hard before it pulls back into a bit of a bridge. Then the chart changes key and kicks into a final chorus, followed by a dance break reprise and final bit of sassy vocal before the final vocal statement and ending. This chart is new and has never been performed, your choir could be the first!
The track features Ines Cring & Brian McCallister on vocals and Steve Cochran on guitar.
