New Arrangement – Let Me Make You Proud

Today’s new for 2023 arrangement release is Let Me Make You Proud as recorded by Varian for Disney’s Tangled series.

This SATB opener begins with a bass clef solo backed up by the choir before the choir takes over into the chorus. The whole arrangement has a musical theater vibe and is full of vocal moments and a big dance break to highlight your group’s dancing ability and feature the band. The arrangement was originally written for Sound from Mundelein High School in Illinois.

The track features Brian McCallister & Ines Cring on vocals and Steve Cochran on guitar.

New Arrangement – Midnight Sky/Edge of Seventeen

Got another New and Never Performed arrangement for ya! This one is an SSA mashup of Midnight Sky by Miley Cyrus and Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks.

Midnight Sky was in my Summer 2021 playlist, and all summer long I thought about this mashup every time I’d hear it. I was bored Wednesday, so I decided to take what was in my head and put it on paper, Ines and Steve recorded yesterday and voila, it’s in my catalog this morning.

The arrangement features a solo throughout and the dance break is a great place to feature a guitar soloist, after which there’s a quick pull back moment that modulates into a stop-time first half of the chorus before the band kicks in and pushes to the end. The chart could go just about anywhere within a treble show, or be used as a treble feature within a mixed show.

The track features Ines Cring on vocals and Steve Cochran on guitar.

This arrangement is new and has never been performed, your choir could be the first!

Enjoy!

New Arrangement – Weekend Vibe/Everybody Get Up

The next new for 2023 arrangement I’m sharing is Weekend Vibe/Everybody Get Up.

This SATB chart mashes these two tunes seamlessly to create a high energy closer full of vocal moments, funky band moments, and many opportunities to create visual moments. Got a great guitar player, feature them in the dance break – if not, just let the horn lines soar! This arrangement was originally written for Northside Establishment from Davenport North High School in Iowa. This chart, and more than 150 other new ones, will be available in my catalog on March 1st.

The track features Ines Cring & Brian McCallister on vocals and Alec McKeska on guitar.

New Arrangement – Centuries/This World Will Remember Me

The next new for 2023 arrangement I’m sharing is Centuries/This World Will Remember Me.

This unlikely duo of songs begins with the normal vibe of the Fall Out Boy song before transitioning into the ‘boom chick, boom chick’ drive of the Bonnie & Clyde number. Centuries does make a return both instrumentally and vocally, but in the same style is This World Will Remember Me. The arrangement features a lot of back in forth between a treble/bass duet and the choir. This arrangement was originally written for O’Gorman High School’s “Ovation” as the second number in their Bonnie & Clyde set.

The track features Tristan Miedema & Ines Cring on vocals, and Steve Cochran on guitar.

New Arrangement – Get Together/All Time Fave

In addition to sharing group performance videos, I’m going to start throwing some new for 2023 arrangement videos into the mix as well.

Up first is a mashup of “Get Together” by PRTY ANML and “All Time Fave” by Outasight. This energetic closer is fully of vocal moments and opportunities for visual ones. The instrumental arrangement is full of hot horn licks, funky guitar, and rockin’ dance breaks. The two tunes overlap at the end with the aid of a treble trio. This arrangement was originally written for Surround Sound from Bettendorf High School in Iowa.

The track features Ines Cring & Brian McCallister on vocals and Jake Colson on guitar.

This arrangement, and more than 150 other new ones, will be available in the catalog on March 1st.
